UPCOMING is operated by SOUKMEDIA. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.
1. What we collect
We may collect event-registration details, newsletter subscriptions, event-host enquiries, and technical analytics needed to operate and improve the platform. When an event link sent to a specific business email is marked as a one-click campaign link, we may associate that email with visits to the linked event page. For each visit we record engaged duration, interaction counts, campaign attribution, and coarse network and human-likelihood categories. We do not retain the raw IP address or full browser user-agent in this campaign analytics record.
2. How we use it
We use submitted information to deliver requested registrations, confirmations, reminders, newsletters, event-host services, and relevant platform recommendations. Identified campaign analytics help us understand whether invitees reached an event page, engaged with it, and completed the registration CTA. Network and human-likelihood categories are approximate analytics signals and are not used as proof of identity or as automatic access-control decisions.
3. Event hosts and service providers
When you register for an event, the registration data may be shared with the event host and the services needed to deliver that event. We also use infrastructure, communications, analytics, and network-intelligence providers acting on our instructions. A network-intelligence provider may process a visit IP address transiently to return a coarse residential/mobile, datacenter/proxy/VPN, or unknown classification; UPCOMING stores the category rather than the raw address in the campaign analytics record.
4. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Newsletter messages include an unsubscribe option.
