What you'll learn
- Issue → PR, hands-off. Assign a Jira work item to Atlassian's coding agent (or Copilot, Cursor, or Claude). It reads the issue, the linked Confluence spec, and the codebase, then opens a PR for review.
- Oversee every agent session. Track which agents are running, which need input, and which have just opened a PR—across the web, IDE, even terminal sessions—all in Jira.
- Cut engineering "chores" with agentic automation. See how to combine Jira's automation rule builder with AI agents to automatically route repetitive, toilsome tasks to agents like bug fixes, boilerplate tests, doc updates, and more, notifying you when a PR is ready for review.
